3 Steps to Find What You Really Want in Life

Have you ever taken a moment to find what you really want in life?

For decades I lived by default.  I accepted everything I received at face value and felt I had no control over what came into my life. And without question, I’d jump into the expected action.

Of course, lots of good things happened for me. However, when all was said and done, they were not all the things that were good for me. I accepted jobs and worked hard when I didn’t like the people I worked for. As a result, it made me miserable. I accepted invitations from people that didn’t treat people well because they were “nice” to me. That is, until they weren’t.

Does any of this sound familiar?

The key to living in a way that honors your desires is not in spending, wasting, or killing time, but investing it.

As you know, I’m all about investing my time. This is because I have seen how people can change how they engage and feel each day just by getting clear about what they want.

Now that I know what living with purpose feels like, I would like to help people live more mindfully. The way you engage in life and the enthusiasm you feel each day is directly related to how you invest your moments and thoughts. If we don’t find a purpose for our days, we could end up living a life where we did everything we were told to do,  but never achieve the riches we hoped for.
