Do you struggle feeling good while working towards the success you want?
A success mindset is a positive way of thinking that utilizes your best attributes, beliefs, thoughts, and actions to achieve the success you desire.
In my book, Be a Spiritual Girl in a Material World, I share how to adopt a Thriving Mindset. With a mindset that embraces growth, it’s easier to do away with the notion that there is anything you can think of that you cannot achieve.
However, I know adopting a success mindset is easier to talk about than achieve, much less maintain.
Behaviors to Cultivate a Success Mindset
Following are the behaviors the most successful people in the world have in common, that support their success mindset.
Take inspired action | Know what is important to you. Focus your energy on the things that matter to you most. When you take focused action that supports who you are and what you want with clarity and conviction it makes achieving the unachievable possible.
Accept the gifts of life’s challenges | The challenges that show up in our lives are just lessons we came here to experience. We are growth seeking beings, and without challenges, life would be boring. When things get tough, ask yourself, “What am I supposed to learn from this?”
Be self-disciplined | It is one thing to know what you want. It is another to do it. The more you connect to why you want something and what it takes to get it, the more likely you are to achieve what you want. This is the key to doing what you must do to get what you want, even when you don’t feel like it.
Choose love over fear | This is probably the most challenging behavior to cultivate. Being angry is easy, however acting out from that place gets nothing accomplished. Too often we allow fear to take control of our behavior and react to life’s less than pleasant experiences in a way that doesn’t honor who we are.
Give in a way that feels good | Giving when we are feeling down or going through a difficult time helps us realize all the “good stuff” that is present in our life. Shifting our focus from our challenges to the challenges of others will make a positive difference in your life and how you feel about it.
Cultivating Behaviors for a Success Mindset is going to help you stop feeling like you’re surviving from day to day, so you could start thriving.
