As part of your travel business success, do you do a quarterly review and reflection?

It is one of my favorite things to do.

Each quarter I set measurable goals and reflect on the progress I have made as part of the Flight Plan System I share in Be a Spiritual Girl in a Material World, but for business.

90 days is the perfect amount of time to set for meaningful progress on achieving it.

You can catch yourself if you are not progressing towards achieving your goals and gain perspective, so you can do more of what’s working, and less of what isn’t.

People ask me, how do you create courses, write books, speak, train, and travel the world all at the same time?

This is how. I stay focused and full, very full.

Travel Business Success Circle Quarterly Review and Reflection Process

These are the questions I use to guide my travel business quarterly review and reflection:

What was the plan?

Priorities | What were my primary objectives?

Strategy | What were the tasks and key projects to be completed to achieve my objectives?

This will tell you if you showed up and did what you said what you were going to do.

Where am I?

Status | Where am I now?

Action | What am I going to plan to do next?

This will tell you the next steps you need to take in the next 90 days to continue making progress towards your higher goals and dreams.

What happened?

Results | How did you do?

Analysis | What worked, what didn’t? Why? Did anything unexpected come up? If so, what? Is it resolved, and can you move forward? If not, what can you do?

For me, there is nothing more personal than my business, so I include what’s going on in my life in my reflection because things come up.  When they do, I acknowledge them to remind myself that things don’t always go to plan and when they don’t, that’s okay. You adjust the plan and keep moving.

Learn | What can I do to achieve more health, wealth, and happiness?

This will give you essential insights into how well you are managing your business and your next steps.

We move forward by taking one step at a time.

Creating a travel business your life loves is a massive undertaking, but that doesn’t mean it is impossible or needs to feel hard.

Take one step at a time focusing only on the next step.

When you come across issues and problems that seem insurmountable, take a step back.  Reflect.

Ask yourself, how can I get over this? Then break down your solution into the smallest steps.

Once you’ve broken down what you need to do into the smallest step, take one step at a time, and before you know It, you’ll overcome your barriers and achieve the success you desire.

With a little patience and perseverance, step-by-step you will create a travel business your life loves.

Allow what you discover in your review and reflection to guide and shape your plan for the next 90 days.
