Why do we talk about work-life balance as if it is some big myth, something no one can actually achieve?
One of the Gifts of Illness was learning how to Live with Purpose to calm the chaos and achieve work-life balance.
I’ve read hundreds of books, studies, and white papers, spoken to doctors and their patients, and studied with leading experts in high-performance and wellbeing to put myself together again. What I’ve learned is that work-life balance is not about equality, it’s about equity.
Now, does this mean I’ve mastered it and never screw up…YES. Yes, it does. Just kidding, of course not. I’m not perfect and I screw up all the time.
But what this does mean for me is I notice pretty quickly when I am off balance and address it quickly.
What’s important to know about work-life balance is that it doesn’t look the same for everyone, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist… and I’ll prove it.
5 Pillars to Live with Purpose
There are 5 Pillars to Live with Purpose that together help us Calm the C-H-A-O-S, by getting rid of things that distract us from what really matters. Living with Purpose is a way of living that feels good and where we immensely enjoy living to our desired potential.
I developed this system based on actual studies in what improves our longevity, quality of life, and overall well-being. If you integrate these 5 Pillars into your lifestyle each and every day, you will experience a truly blissful and balanced life.
Allowing you to:
- Respond with grace to the fires burning all around you, because life stops for no one…they will always burn.
- Be fully engaged and present with the people you care about most, so you create more meaningful moments.
- Work 25% faster and with fewer mistakes so you do what you need to do and have time for what you want to do.
I share more in my book, Be a Spiritual Girl being released March 9th.
