Do you ever feel like giving up on your dreams, but don’t because you fear judgment by your jury of family and friends?

Here’s the deal, if you feel disgruntled, depleted, and disconnected while doing what you have to do, take it as a sign.  It may be time to walk away.

And if it feels that means you’re quitting. Let go of that.

One way to enjoy more of how you invest your time is doing things that you love, but how do you know when it’s time to walk away or double down and see it through?

People ask me all the time – what should I do when I feel like giving up on my dreams, and for me, it’s all in how you feel, weighed down or lifted up.

It’s important to look at how you feel as you take on your dreams to no matter your level of commitment or responsibility because accomplishment means nothing if you don’t enjoy the process.

When we don’t allow ourselves to take an honest look at how we feel about the goals we aspire to achieve we could end up with everything we want but nothing we need.

In the video I share:

3 Signs It May Be Time to Give Up on a Dream

We only have a certain amount of energy and time on this earth.  It’s important you make the best investment of both to do the things that will fulfill and invigorate you and bring more meaning to your life.

Create goals for what they make of you, not what they get you.

Yes, you will stay up late and wake up early to make it happen, but you will always need to find a way to hold on to your faith that all the energy and time is worth it no matter how long it takes. You have to do this because that’s what it takes to succeed.

I’d love to hear about you and your experiences with wanting to walk away.  How did you do it? Where you able to walk away with grace? Did it feel like you were quitting? Share your ah-has, comments, and thoughts here or by emailing me at Carmen@WellbeingMessenger.com.

Is your self-talk loving... or something else?

Be a Spiritual Girl in a Material World Book Cover MediumI have to admit, there are times if a friend talk to me the way I talk to myself, we would not be friends.
